well, the art show was a success. i ended up selling one painting, and a few hand-painted boxes, for a total of $130. there were only 2 people at the show who ended up selling anything and i was one of them. not bad for my ever art show. :) there were a few instances where i really hated it. i felt completely out of place. my art was so different from the traditional works of flowers, fruits, you know, the kind of stuff that grandmas hang in their kitchens and bathrooms. i got a lot of strange looks from people who passed my booth. best and worst part of the show: lady looking at my art: this is simply outrageous! this is -supposed- to be

it's a good thing i work well under pressure. this friday i'm going to showcase my art in an exhibit in downtown nashville. it's my first time ever displaying my work to the public. i'm kind of nervous, but not as much as i thought i'd be. i've had about 3 weeks or so to work on my art, but haven't gotten much accomplished. i keep reworking everything thinking it's not good enough. but these past couple of days i've managed to get some stuff done. i finished painting a violin and took it to a local music shop to have it stringed, set up, and get a sound board put in. it's supposed to be done tomorrow. the people at the music shop really dug i

i haven't been on here in forever it seems. my new years resolution is to create one bad ass drawing a day, so i figured i would get more active on my DA thing. i foresee this resolution lasting like, uh, a month. so i need encouragement. so, i was looking through my gallery and decided most of it sucked. but that's okay, i mean most of the art was from when i was 17. i deleted it all, and i'm posting newer stuff. i've got oodles of free time, so if anyone out there would like to request some artsy fartsy stuff, lay it on me. i could use the practice. oh, and by the way, i suck at drawing animals. that is all.
